Speakeasy is the annual spoken word, poetry, and open mic-night planned and hosted by the members of the Feminist of Color Collective (FCC). Former FCC Co-Chair, Lea Barros, describes Speakeasy as “Activism through creative expression and art.” Students and alumni share personal experiences and perspectives on the power and impact of Speakeasy.
